mini sneak preview

this weekend we had our new rowe sofa delivered.  the delivery guys were champs, bringing it up three floors!  our apartment looks so incredibly different now.  the book shelves are gone (now adopted by some good friends), as well as most of the furniture in the room.  it has a different feel to the room now, and i’m just itching to paint the walls!

to do checklist:

• prime and paint
• sell desk and tv stand
• purchase new tv stand from west elm, side tables (??), and ikea billy bookshelf
• hang drapes and blinds
• refinish lamps and find lamp shades

it seems like so much to do.  but we are making progress!  see, here’s a pic of the couch!  it’s against the wall where the bookshelves were.  it’s a great neutral, but a gold sheen in the upholstry gives it real depth!

and here is a pic of the new sheepskin rug from room & board, on my herman miller chairs.  i like how it now looks like a love seat.  how hollywood glam is that?

it’s coming along.  by april 1, i should have a complete set of before and after pics!
